Anne BoucartAnne Boucart, who is Jewish, cooks for a small community of elderly priests and brothers at Holy Family Monastery in West Hartford. Two of her grandparents perished in the Holocaust, and her mother was sheltered against the Nazis in a succession of Catholic convents.

I’ll post a photo of her mother, Sara Boucart, dressed for her First Holy Communion, a sacrament she was compelled to receive, ending permission from the Holocaust Museum in Washington, DC.
