Father John Baptist Pesce and pie

Fr. John Baptist Pesce

To inaugurate the show, Fr. John Baptist Pesce comes to the WESU-FM studios, bringing his enlightened take on current issues affecting—and afflicting!—the Church, including the Vatican crackdown on nuns, the bishops’ crusade against Obamacare, and the need for more involvement by the laity in decision-making at all levels. Quoting Victor Hugo, Fr. John reminds us that there is no resisting “an idea whose time has come”! Do you have one foot out the church door? Father John may persuade you to stay!

Reasonably Catholic: Keeping the Faith debuts Tuesday, Sept. 18, 2012, at 4:00 p.m. EST on WESU 88.1 FM in Middletown, CT, and streaming at wesufm.org.

  1. Inspiring! Father John Baptist Pesce gave me many ideas to ponder. What would the church be like if the lay members were more appreciated and encouraged to be more influential in policy formation? Keep up the good work!
